Painted lighting
NMM creates a metallic impression using non-metallic colors. Its light and dark shapes are easier to plan for a fixed display angle.
A surface that responds to light
Metallic-paint reflections change with lighting and viewing angle and can be combined with painted shadows and highlights. It is not an inferior substitute.
